This package will take you through a cultural tour which will want you wanting more and planning your next trip soon. A 11 day trip which begins and ends at Leh, You'll be visiting the land of ancient Aryans, a village called Dahanu

Itinerary

  • Day 1 Arrival at Leh

    On arrival at Kushok Bakula airport in Leh (situated at a height of 3,500 meters), you will be transferred to your hotel (2-3 kilometres from airport). During the day, full day rest to acclimatize yourself with the weather and high pressure of Ladakh. Stay overnight at the hotel.

  • Day 2 Leh - Alchi - Likir- Uletokpo- lamayuru (75 kms / 3 hrs)

    In the morning, Start your bike ride towards west of Leh and explore the miniature paintings of Alchi Monastery. The foundation stone of Alchi Monastery was laid sometime back in 990 A.D. En route, drive past Magnetic Hall, Military Hall of Fame and confluence of Indus and Zanskar River at Nimu. Stay overnight at the hotel in alchi.

  • Day 3 Lamayuru- Dahanu (163 kms)

    After breakfast get ready for travel onwards to Dahanu Village, known as Land of Ancient Aryans. On arrival check in at guest-house. Later visit Dah, hanu, Beeama villages. Overnight stay at guest house.

  • Day 4 Dahanu - Kargil

    After breakfast an exciting drive to Dhanu to Kargil via Batalik (one of the most famous war zone fought by the Indian soldiers in 1999 with Pakistan at this place), enroute view Apati rock statue and stop photo at Buddha statue. Afternoon Visit old Kargil. Overnight stay at hotel in kargil.

  • Day 5 Kargil - Leh

    In Morning after breakfast around 8 am drive towards Leh 3500m / 230 km / 7-8 hrs, the capital of Ladakh region. Enroute after 40-45 km we stop at Mulbekh to visit the giant rock-cut statue of Maitreya Buddha. Later on we cross the fotula pass and stop at the lunar-like landscapes near Lamayuru village. Later on the way to Leh we stop for photo at the confluence of Indus and Zanskar River. Arrive Leh by evening and overstay at the hotel.

  • Day 6 Leh - Nubra Valley

    Start the day for your dream ride with lots of excitement to the Nubra Valley. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations of Ladakh. The unique landscape has given it the name of ?desert in the sky?. On arrival, check-in at a guest house/hotel. Later, leave for sightseeing. The unmissrable attraction of Nubra Valley is camel safari on the Hunder sand dunes. The double-humped camels take you to explore the surrounding scenery. Next, visit the Panamik village. There are many hot water sulphur springs. Pay a visit to the Diskit Monastery, the oldest and the largest monastery of Nubra. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

  • Day 7 Nubra Valley - Pangong via Shayok River or Warila pass 120 Kms/ 4-5 Hrs

    The day is going to be equally amazing, After Breakfast visit Deskit Monastery (Big Buddha), where you can have a magnificent view of Nubra Valley and drive to for Pangong Lake 14,500 ft, through Shayok river , Arrival at Camp, Later free time at Leisure and enjoy the colour changing lake and the sun set on the banks of lake. O/N Pangong Lake.

  • Day 8 Pangong - Tsomoriri Lake (240 km / 9-10 hours)

    Another day of excitement, Start your day early when the surroundings of the lake look even more beautiful. If you want, you can click some photographs here. Later on, start driving towards Tsomoriri Lake. The largest lake in Ladakh, it lies at an altitude of 15075 feet. You drive up to Kharu and then right to the Moriri Lake. En-route halt at Chumathang Hot springs. Drive past Mahe Bridge and then drive towards the beautiful Tsomoriri Lake. Spot Himalayan marmots. Evening arrival at the Lake. Check-in at the tented camp near the lake. Near the lake, you can spot as many as 34 avifauna species. The lake has been declared a Wetland of international significance under the Ramsar Convention in 2003.Stay overnight in the camp.

  • Day 9 Tso Moriri Lake - Tsokar Lake

    Early morning start your bike ride and hit the road to Tsokar Lake. En route, visit Geo-thermal hot springs near Puga, thukjey village, see nomads along Polokongka pass and salt water Tsokar Lake. One of the famous protected wetlands of Ladakh, Tsokar Lake is home to various migratory birds from Central Asia. Stay overnight at the camp.

  • Day 10 Tsokar Lake - Leh

    After an early breakfast on day 10, start driving to Leh via Tsokar Lake. On the way, take a halt to visit Puga Geo-Thermal Gas springs, visiting the Nomadic Rebo tents at Polo-kongka pass, and further after the pass, stop by Tsokar Lake - a wetland area. Stop here for photographs. If you are interested, you can also visit the monastery of tiny Thukje village. Say goodbye to the beauty of Ladakh and ride along the curvy roads of ladakh. Overnight stay in hotel in leh.

  • Day 11 Leh- Delhi

    Early morning transfer to KBR airport to board flight for onward journey.

  • Refundable security deposit of Rs 10000 per bike.
  • Liability for change in itinerary due to reasons beyond IYCs control like change in flight and train schedule, cancellation of flights/trains, political disturbances, natural phenomenon, etc.
  • Items of personal nature like drinks, laundry, telephone calls, tips, camera fees, etc.
  • Extra cost due to any change in the itinerary/ stay on account of flight cancellation due to bad weather, ill health, roadblocks and/or any factors beyond control.
